Reaction mass of methyl chloroacetate and chloroacetic acid: Key study: The auto-ignition temperature of test substance was 475 ºC (DIN guideline 51794, equivalent to EU method A.15). 
Methyl chloroacetate: Key study: The auto ignition temperature is 480 ºC at a pressure of 101.0 kPa (EEC-Guideline A.15).
Monochloroacetic acid: Weigh of evidence: The self-ignition temperature of Monochloroacetic acid is 460-470 ºC (DIN 51794 guideline, equivalent to EU method A.15).
