Description of key information

From EPI suite KOCWIN Program (v2.00) predicted model the soil adsorption coefficient (Koc) value of Sodium 5-(aminosulphonyl)-2-(7-(diethylamino)-2-oxo-2H-1-benzopyran-3-yl)benzoxazolesulphonate is estimated to be 46.35 L/kg i.e log Koc= 1.6660497 at 25 deg C,this log Koc value indicating that it is has a very low sorption to soil and sediment and therefore have moderate migration potential to groundwater.

The adsorption capacity of the test chemical Sodium 5-(aminosulphonyl)-2-(7-(diethylamino)-2-oxo-2H-1-benzopyran-3-yl) benzoxazolesulphonate in soil was estimated using KOCWIN Program (v2.00) from EPISuite version 4.1. The koc was estimated using MCI method.

The estimated koc value for the test chemical is 46.35 L/kg.

The test chemical has a corrected log Koc of 1.6660497. Based on the classification criterion for PBT, the test chemical has very low sorption to soil and sediment and moderate migration potential to ground water.
