Additional information

Acute toxicity to fish has been investigated on three structural analogues of the registered substance. Tests were conducted according to OECD test methods and dissolution/dispersion agents were used to increase concentration of two of the substances in the test medium. In these studies the LC50 (96h) was determined to be >100 mg/L. Other studies investigated the effects of a water accommodated fraction resulting in significantly lower levels of exposure.

In contrast with the experimental values from the tested structural analogues, QSAR estimates for the registered substance predict LC50 values ranging from 0.04 mg/L to 0.81 mg/L. However, similarly low values are obtained from QSAR estimates of the three structural analogues and it is considered that modelling may not be a reasonable predictor for these substances.
