Description of key information

The Lethal Concentration 50% (LC50) values of 1,3-isobenzofurandione, reaction products with methylquinoline and quinoline (D & C Yellow No. 11) based on the effect of mortality in fish in a 96 hrs study was found to be >0.18mg/L and No mortality observed at 0.18mg/L.

The other weight of evidence studies also indicate the LC50 values to be in the range more than 0.11-0.12 mg/L.  Thus, considering only the LC50 values, the studies indicate Aquatic toxicity since though the LC50 values are in the classifying, as the range is not specified. Considering the weight of evidence results 1,3-isobenzofurandione, reaction products with methylquinoline and quinoline (D & C Yellow No. 11) is not classified.
