Administrative data

First-aid measures

· General information:

Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.

· After inhalation:

Remove from exposure site to fresh air and keep at rest. Obtain medical advice.

· After skin contact:

Remove contaminated clothing and wash exposed area thoroughly with soap and water. A physician may need to examine the area if irritation or pain persists.

· After eye contact:

Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation develops consult doctor.

· After swallowing:

Rinse mouth with water and get medical attention immediately.

If swallowed do not induce vomiting never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents: CO2, foam, dry chemicals.

· For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents:

Do not use direct water jet on burning material.

· Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

In case of fire, the following can be released:

Carbon monoxide (CO) Carbon dioxide (CO2)

· Protective equipment:

Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary

Accidental release measures

· Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Keep away from ignition sources. Wear protective clothing.

Use an individual protective equipment (waterproof boots, suitable protective clothing, and safety glasses). Prevent any contact with hot surfaces. Do not approach facing the wind.

·  Environmental precautions:

Do not allow product to reach sewage system or any water course.

·  Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Contain spilled material. Cover with and inert, non-combustible, inorganic absorbent material, or sweep up and remove to an approved disposal container.

Handling and storage

·  Precautions for safe handling

Handle in well ventilated area. Handle away from sources of ignition.

• Avoid contact with eyes, open cuts.

• Wash thoroughly after handling.

• Keep away from food, domestic water supplies.

Apply according to good manufacturing and industrial hygiene practices with proper ventilation. Do not drink, eat or smoke while handling. Respect good personal hygiene.

Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke.

· Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances.

Exposure controls / personal protection

· Exposure controls

· Personal protective equipment:

· General protective and hygienic measures: Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.

Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

· Respiratory protection: Use breathing protection with high concentration.

Use chemical resistant gloves as needed.

The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.
