Pay attention to self-protection.
Remove victims from hazardous area. Immediately remove soiled or soaked clothing and remove it to a safe distance. Keep victim warm, in a stabilized position and covered.
Do not leave victims unattended.
If the casualty is unconscious: Place the victim in the recovery position.
Inhalation is possible if aerosols, mists, dusts, or smoke form.
Move victims into fresh air.
With labored breathing: Provide with oxygen. Consult a doctor.
Wash off with plenty of water and soap.
If symptoms persist, consult a physician for treatment.
With eye held open, thoroughly rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes.
In case of persistent discomfort: Consult an ophthalmologist.
Possible discomfort is due to foreign substance effect.
Have the mouth rinsed with water.
After absorbing large amounts of substance / In case of discomfort: Supply with medical care.
Notes to physician:
Ingestion: Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea are possible.
After absorbing large amounts of substance:
administration of activated charcoal.
Acceleration of gastrointestinal passage.
Suitable extinguishing media:
The product itself is not flammable; adapt fire-extinguishing measures to surroundings.

In specific combustion conditions traces of the following poisonous substances cannot be ruled out:

Requirements for storage areas and containers:
Do not seal containers gas-tight, but keep them closed.
Packages, containers and tanks should regularly be checked by visual observation for any sign of abnormality, e.g. corrosion, exert pressure (bulging), temperature increase etc.

Product may release relevant amounts of carbon dioxide.

Solid matter may occur and sediment during storage that does not impair the quality of the product.
Components with workplace control parameters:

Store in a receptacle equipped with a vent.
Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.
If there is the possibility of skin/eye contact, the indicated hand/eye/body protection should be used.
Personal protective equipment:
In the case of dust or aerosol formation use respirator with an approved filter.
Selection of protective gloves to meet the requirements of specific workplaces.
Suitability for specific workplaces should be clarified with protective glove manufacturers.
Suitable protective gloves: e.g. rubber gloves, PVC gloves.
Protective goggles in case of splash risk recommended.
Skin and body protection:
When handling larger quantities: light protective clothing, disposable protective suit.
No eating, drinking, smoking, or snuffing tobacco at work. Wash face and/or hands before break and end of work.
Conditions to avoid:
No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.
At increased temperatures relevant quantities of CO2 can be released. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation.
Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal or incineration.
If recycling is not practicable, dispose of in compliance with local regulations.
With respect to local regulations, e.g. dispose of to waste incineration plant or dispose of to biological sewage treatment plant (after neutralisation and after sufficient dilution).
