Additional information

Two valid studies on the acute toxicity of the substance performed under static conditions with analytical monitoring of the test substance concentration are available. In a study on the acute toxicity to rainbow trout conducted in accordance with OECD guideline 203 a 96 h LC50 of 2.8 mg/l based on nominal concentrations was determined (Ciba-Geigy Ltd. 1984). A second study in compliance with OECD guideline 203 investigated the acute toxicity of the substance to Lepomis macrochirus. After 96 hours a LC50 of 3.8 mg/l was determined.

Both studies were conducted with solubilisers. Due to the substance' solubility behaviour it is not certain that the LC50 values are within the range of solubility.
