Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The density of the test item (upper liquid layer only) has been determined to be 1.05 x 103 kg/m3, relative density 1.05, at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.
Executive summary:

Introduction

The density of the upper-liquid layer of the test item was derived using a glass pyconmeter.

Methods

The test was carried out according to the following guidelines:

  • EU Method A.3 (Relative Density)
  • OECD Guideline 109 (Density of Liquids and Solids)

Instrument: Glass pycnometer

Balance: Analytical balance with an accuracy of 0.1 mg.

Conditions: All manipulations will be performed at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C

Results

The density of the test item (upper liquid layer only) has been determined to be 1.05 x 103 kg/m3, relative density 1.05, at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.
