Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Under the test conditions of a manometric respirometry test (EU Method C.4-D - Determination of the "Ready" Biodegradability - Manometric Respirometry Test) the test substance Reactive Olive F00-0149 was not readily biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

A study was performed to assess the ready biodegradability of test substance according to EU Method C.4-D (Determination of the "Ready" Biodegradability - Manometric Respirometry Test) in compliance with GLP.

The test substance in an inoculated mineral medium was incubated for 28 d under aerobic conditions. During this period the amount of oxygen taken up by the test chemical was expressed as percentage of theoretical oxygen demand or chemical oxygen demand.

Reactive Olive F00 -0149 showed a degradation of 8 % within 28 days. Accordingly, the test substance is not considered to be readily biodegradable.
