Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to fish. No toxic effects occur within the range of solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP guideline study according OECD 203 has been conducted (BASF SE 2017). Due to the low solubility of the test substance a saturated solution with a loading rate of 100 mg/L has been prepared. However, concentration control analysis was not performed since the analytical detection limit was above the water solubility of the test substance. However, all reasonable efforts were taken to produce a saturated solution of the test substance in test media, following the guidance in OECD 23, and the test fish were exposed to the entire mass of test substance for the duration of the test.

After 96 h of static exposure no acute effect on fish up to its saturation limit in test media and under test conditions have been observed. Therefore, the LC50 was determined to be > 100 mg/L. No toxic effects occur within the range of solubility.
