Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In accordance with the standard Column 2 adaptation as set out in Section of 7.5 REACH Annex VII, it is considered justified to omit the testing to determine the vapour pressure of the substance on the basis of the high melting point of the substance.

For the chemical safety assessment, a vapour pressure of 1E-06 Pa (at 25˚C) was assumed to allow for the Chesar model to work properly. This value was chosen as it is the lowest vapour pressure suggested in EUSES.
