Description of key information

The boiling point of Z-Acetate was not observed below 325 °C (decomposes; OECD 103 method).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In the key study, the boiling point of Z-Acetate was tested using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). An endotherm corresponding to decomposition began at 325 °C. The test was conducted at ambient pressure (exact pressure not stated). The study was conducted in accordance with the OECD 103 method and was GLP compliant. A value of 217 °C (pressure not reported) for boiling point was also found. However, due to few details available, the reliability of the data is not assignable.
