A study on the ready biodegradability of the test substance is not available. However, results on ready biodegradability are given in the NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL CHEMICALS NOTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT SCHEME (NICNAS; File No: STD/1346, January 2010) by the Australian Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts. According to the assessment, after 28 d 3.63% biodegradation has been observed for the test substance in a Closed Bottle Test according to OECD 301D. Therefore, the test substance is regarded as not readily biodegradable according OECD criteria.

Additionally, a QSAR calculation using EPISuite BIOWIN v4.10 has been conducted. The QSAR calculation showed also that the test substance is not readily biodegradable.
