Description of key information

Read-across to a study of the methyl ester has been carried. Justicifcation is prepared in chapter 13. The determination of the mortality of fish exposed to the test item Fatty acids, C16-C18 and C18 unsaturated, methyl esters for a duration of 96 hours assessed according to OECD guideline 203. Fish were exposed under semi-static conditions to Fatty acids, C16 -C18 and C18 Unsaturated , methyl esters in dilution water. LR50 (96 hr) was determined at > 0.26 mg/L.
