Description of key information

The relative density (compared to water at 4°C) of the test substance was found to be approximately 1.5

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.5

Additional information

A study was conducted with both structural analogues to determine the relative density of the test substance according to OECD Guideline 109 and EU Method A.3, in compliance with GLP.

The relative density of the test substance at room temperature was measured by air comparison pycnometer method.

Under the conditions of this test, the relative density (compared to water at 4°C) of the test substance was found to be 1.74 for one structural analogue and 1.21 for the other structural analogue.

As the registered substance is a combination of both structural analogues, a mean between these values was selected for Reactive Blue 203.
