Description of key information

The surface tension (Harkins-Jordan corrected) of the test substance at 20°C was determined to be 66.0 mN/m.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
66
in mN/m at 20°C and concentration in mg/L:
1 000

Additional information

A study was conducted to determine the surface tension of the test substance according to OECD Guideline 115 and EU Method A.5 in compliance with GLP. The determination of the surface tension was carried out by the ring method with an aqueous solution of the test substance at a concentration of 1,000 mg/L. Under the study conditions, the surface tension (Harkins-Jordan corrected) of the test substance at 20°C was determined to be 66.0 mN/m.
