Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The LD50 of quinine dihydrochloride, tested on mouse via intravenous injection is 70 mg/kg bw and the LD50 of quinine acid sulphate and dihydroquinine acid sulphate are 95 mg/kg bw.
Executive summary:

In the study published by Buttle, 1934 the acute toxicity of quinine dihydrochloride and quinine acid sulphate were tested on mouse via an intravenous injection. The experimental study shows that, the LD50 of quinine dihydrochloride is 70 mg/kg bw and the LD50 of quinine acid sulphate and dihydroquinine acid sulphate are 95 mg/kg bw.
