Description of key information

Determination of the melting point of Triethylenetetramine, propoxylated (triethylene-tetramine adduct).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-20 °C

Additional information

The melting point of Triethylenetetramine, propoxylated (triethylene-tetramine adduct) was determined based on the procedures indicated by the following internationally accepted methods:OECD 102 / EU Method A.1

As the test material was a complex mixture, it was considered that the pour point method was the most appropriate test method.

The pour point was determined to be less than -20 °C (< 253 K).

This study is classified acceptable and satisfies the guideline requirements for melting point studies.
