Short term toxicity to fish

The acute toxicity of the test substance to fish was assessed in two studies conducted on Pimephales promelas, which revealed LC50 values of 6.7 mg/L and 10.8 mg/L, respectively. For risk assessment and C+L a key value of 6.7 mg/L was used.

Toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

In the acute immobilisation test with Daphnia magna (STRAUS), the 48 h-EC50 value of the test substance was found to be 27.1 mg/L.

Toxicity to Algae

In a 72 hours toxicity test with the freshwater green algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata the EC50 value based on growth rate was determined to be 24.1 mg/L, the EC10 value was found to be 8.08 mg/L.

Toxicity to microorganisms

The toxicity control in the Ready biodegradability test showed no inhibition of the microbial activity at a substance concentration of 3.1 mg/L. According to the ECHA Guidance document R7b, no further test on the toxicity to microorganisms has to be conducted.
