Description of key information

Based on the relevant tonnage band no study on bioaccumulation needs to be conducted. Furthermore, a study would not be needed as the bioaccumulation potential of the substance is low (REACH Annex IX, column 2).
However, a study on bioaccumulation with zinc, 5,5'-azobis-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-pyrimidinetrione complexes and melamine was already available and is reported to provide all available data. This study reported of BCF values < 740 and < 2900 for the higher and the lower concentration. From the report it can be understood that there were some analytical difficulties (background level; poor solubility of the test item) as well as that no substance was detected in test fish.
