Description of key information

Not readily biodegradable (by OECD criteria). Poorly biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

To assess the biodegradability of the compound a GLP study according to OECD guideline 301 B was conducted. Non-adapted sludge from a municipal sewage treatment plant was used as inoculum and 27 mg/L test substance was used as concentration (corresponds to 20 mg/L TOC). After a treatment time of 28d < 10% CO2/ThCO2 was observed. Therefore, the test substance is not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
