The acute toxicity of the test substance on Daphnia magna was investigated in a GLP guideline study according to 92/69/EWG. The EC50 value on the mobility of the organisms was determined to exceed 1000 mg/L (Hüls AG DK-678, 1996). Therefore, the test substance is considered with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
