Description of key information

According to structural properties, hydrolysis is not expected/probable.

Furthermore, Phenethylamine is readily biodegradable (MITI, 2010).

Additional information

According to Kollig et al. (1993) and Boethling & Mackay (2000), the structure of the test substance does not contain any functional groups sensitive to hydrolysis.

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the study does not need to be performed if the substance is readily biodegradable.

The substance is readily biodegradible (MITI, 2010).

Therefore, no study on hydrolysis is performed.
