Additional information

Biotic or abiotic degradation by hydrolysis are no relevant environmental pathways for the substance. The substance comprises no hydrolysable functional groups and is not readily or inherently biodegradable according to OECD criteria. The experimentally determined log Koc values indicate a potential for adsorption to suspended soil and sediment particles (log Koc 3.2 – 3.7). Based on the high water solubility (WS >1000 g/L) the substance is expected to mainly distribute to water bodies when released to the environment. A bioaccumulation in aquatic or sediment organisms is not expected due to the low calculated log Pow of -2.65.
