Description of key information

NOEC (21d) >= 10 mg/L (nominal loading rate) for Daphnia magna (OECD 211)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One study investigating the long-term toxicity of Bis(2-propylheptyl) hexanedioate to aquatic invertebrates is available. The study was performed according to GLP and OECD guideline 211 using Daphnia magna as test organism (BASF 2015). A 10 mg/L loading rate was tested as limit test. All validity criteria are fulfilled. No effects on adult survival and reproductive output was observed in the treatment compared to the control. Thus, the 21d-NOEC is determined to be >= 10 mg/L based on the nominal concentration.
