Description of key information

NOEC (28d) >= 100 mg/L (nominal, loading rate) for growth rate of Gobiocypris rarus (OECD 2015)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One study investigating the long-term toxicity of Bis(2-propylheptyl) hexanedioate to freshwater fish is available. The study was performed according to GLP and OECD guideline 215 using Gobiocypris rarus as test organism (BASF 2015). A 100 mg/L loading rate was tested as limit test. All validity criteria are fulfilled. No growth rate inhibition was observed in the treatment compared to the control. Thus, the 28d-NOEC value is determined to be >= 100 mg/L based on nominal concentration.
