Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information
Data on the acute toxicity of 1,2,3-propanetriyl triisooctadecanoate (CAS 26942-95-0) to aquatic invertebrates are not available. The assessment was therefore based on a study conducted with the structurally related substance Glycerides, C14-18 and C16-18 unsatd, mono-, di- and tri- (CAS 91052-28-7) as part of a read across approach, which is in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex XI, 1.5. Further justification is given within the overall summary chapter 6.1 and within the analogue justification section 13.
The short-term toxicity of Glycerides, C14-18 and C16-18 unsatd, mono-, di- and tri- (CAS 91052-28-7) was tested according to OECD Guideline 202 in a limit test. Daphnia magna were exposed to the substance in a static test for 48 hours. The specimen were exposed to a nominal substance concentration of 100 mg/L (WAF). At test termination an EL50 (48 h) >100 mg/L was determined. Based on these results from a structurally related source substance (in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 Annex XI, 1.5) which is characterized by a similar ecotoxicological profile, toxicological effects on aquatic invertebrates are not expected up to the limit of water solubility for 1,2,3-propanetriyl triisooctadecanoate (CAS 26942-95-0).
