Additional information

The acute fish study of Huels (1996) was used as key study for PNEC derivation. The 96h test was conducted according EU Method C1. The semi-static test was performed at pH 7,8-8,4 and 20°C. The test concentrations used were 0, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 mg/L. These concentrations were measured and found to be similar to the nominal concentrations (< 20% difference). The result of this test is an unbounded 96-h LC 50 of > 1000mg/L for the fish Cyprinus carpio.
