Description of key information

No terrestrial plant toxicity studies are available for aminoethyl piperazine.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Since invertebrates were the most sensitive group as indicated from aquatic toxicity data, a chronic earthworm study (limit test) is planned for this endpoint in accordance with REACh guidance for compounds in soil hazard category 3 (Table R.7.11 -2). Based on the outcome of this test and the screening level risk assessment, a decision will be rendered as to whether additional terrestrial toxicity testing is necessary for aminoethyl piperazine.
