Additional information

Aminoethylpiperazine has exhibited little or no biodegradation in various screening tests of ready and inherent biodegradability. However, this substance does not possess structural features which are known to be resistant to biodegradation. The lack of degradation observed may be due to toxicity/inhibition of the inocula employed in these tests, as observed in the key study of ready biodegradability conducted according to OECD 301F.
