Abiotic and biotic degradation

Basically: the test substance is an inorganic substance. In itself does not undergo biodegradation neither abiotic nor biotic i.e. microbial degradation to carbon dioxide and water, since it does not contain any carbon or hydrogen atoms in its chemical formula. This material will be degraded in environment by means other then biodegradation. Therefore, the simulation test on the degradation of the test substance in soil is scientifically unjustified.
