Description of key information

The oxidising properties of allyl alcohol was determined by application of EU method A.21 to allyl alcohol.

The EU A.21 method employed determined that allyl alcohol is not an oxidising liquid.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Allyl alcohol is not classified as having oxidising properties according to the following classification criteria of:

- Directive 67/548/EEC

- Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP GHS)
