Description of key information

No adsorption tests have to be conducted as the category members are rapidly decomposed. Calculated Kos values range from 1415 for C16 monoglycerides to 1.086E+14 for C18 triglycerides.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

As the category members are readily biodegradable, they are as well rapidly decomposed and according to EC 1907/2006 Annex VIII + IX no adsorption tests have to be conducted.

The Koc values calculated with (Q)SAR (KOCWIN v2.00, Episuite) for Fatty Acid Glycerides based on experimental or calculated log Pow values range from 1415 for C16 monoglycerides to 1.086E+14 for C18 triglycerides.
