The results from the photocell detection method is shown in Table 1 below.

Approximate accuracy of the instrument: ± 0.3 K (at 373K)

DSC Measurement:

The DSC diagram (blue line) showed an endothermic peak which represents the boiling temperature. The simultaneous TG (green line) showed a significant loss of weight in the range of this peak. The uncorrected boiling temperature (peak onset at 235.8°C) of this measurement corresponds to the values of the capillary tube/photocell method very closely. The DSC/TG thermograms are attached.

Conclusions:
A boiling point value of 237.2°C (510.4K) at 1013 hPa was determined in a reliable study conducted according to a relevant test method and in compliance with a known quality system. The result is considered to be reliable.

Additional information

A measured boiling point value of 237.2°C (510.4 K) at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance using a photocell detection method in accordance with OECD 103 Test Guideline and in compliance with a known quality system (ISO 9001:2008). The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study. The key study is supported by a boiling point value of 236.1±1°C (509.3±1°K) at 98 kPa which was determined in a reliable study conducted according to the OECD test guideline and EU test method. The test was not conducted at standard atmospheric pressure.

In a secondary source to which reliability could not be assigned, a boiling point value of 180°C was reported for the substance.
