Adsorption/desorption

A OECD Guideline 121 (Estimation of the Adsorption Coefficient (Koc) on Soil and on Sewage Sludge using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)) study was performed to determine the soil adsorption coefficient (Koc) of KMPS tripe salt. The Koc was determined to be < 18 at 20 °C and the log Koc was < 1.25.

Henry`s Law constant

Calculated using the vapour pressure (1.7E-04 Pa, see section 4.6), the molecular mass (614.76 g/mol) and the solubility in water (364 g/L, see section 4.8) by using the formula:

HLC = vapour pressure * molecular mass / water solubility = 2.87E-07 Pa x m³ x mol-1

Therefore KMPS triple salt is not volatile.
