Additional information

The test substance rapidly oxidises in the atmosphere via reaction with photochemically produced OH radicals. Its atmospheric lifetime is estimated to be 5.1 days (Good et al., 1998);. Atmospheric oxidation of this substance is predicted to result in the formation of formaldehyde, methyl formate, formic acid anhydride and formic acid (Sehested et al., 1996).
