Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The acute aquatic toxicity was estimated using the ECOSAR model v1.10 included in the EpiSuite models of US-EPA. In ECOSAR, substances for which the ecotoxicity is estimated are entitled to chemical classes according to their chemical structure. For each class the ecotox values for acute and chronic endpoints are estimated. Bis(2 -(2 -butoxyethoxy)ethyl) butanedioate is classified under the class of the esters. The estimated 48-hr LC50 value for Daphnids is 78 mg/l.
