Additional information

One study investigating the short-term toxicity of Reaction products of D-Glucose, n-Butanol and C10-12 (even numbered) alcohols to marine aquatic invertebrates is available. In this key study performed according to ISO 14669 and a PARCOM Ringtest Protocol under GLP, Acartia tonsa was exposed to nominal concentrations of 1, 5, 25 and 100 mg/L of a 70% solution in a static test design. As a result, an EC50 (48 h) value of 28.5 mg/L was reported, equivalent to 19.95 mg a.i./L (AnalyCen ecotox, 2004).
