Results and discussion

Melting / freezing point
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
300 °C

Any other information on results incl. tables

The exothermal (decomposition) reaction shows an onset at approximately 300 °C (taken as decomposition temperature) and a peak at approximately 309 °C in the DSC curve, the reaction energy of the decomposition being approximately 130 J/g (mean from 2 measurements).

No discernible endothermal reaction (melting) was seen in the DTA.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Decomposition starts without discernible melting, the decomposition temperature is 300 °C.
Executive summary:

The DTA/DSC shows decomposition starting at 300 °C without discernible melting prior to decomposition.
