First-aid measures

General advice:

Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Move out of dangerous area. First-aid

crew: Ensure self-protection. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.

Eye contact:

Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. Call a physician immediately.

Skin contact:

Wash off with soap and water. Call a physician immediately.

Inhalation:

Provide fresh air. Keep the victim calm and in a semi-upright position. Artificial respiration

and/or oxygen may be necessary. Call a physician immediately.

Ingestion:

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Call a

physician immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Specific hazards during fire fighting:

May form toxic gases on heating or in case of fire. Zinc oxide fumes.

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters:

In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Suitable extinguishing media:

Water spray jet, Alcohol-resistant foam, Dry chemical, Carbon dioxide (CO2)
