Additional information

A guideline chronic study for aquatic invertebrates is available for the test substance. The key study is an OECD 211 test with Daphnia magna. The 21-d NOEC on reproduction was determined at 1000 mg/L (nominal, NITE, J-CHECK databank, 2002).

In addition, a single semi-static GLP-study conducted by Springborn Laboratories according to the EPA guideline 1002.0 from 1989 is available. In this study, the effects of the test substance on Ceriodaphnia dubia was studied over a time period of 7 days. The NOEC determined for mortality was 625mg/L (nominal, TSCAT, data published, OTS0516624-6, 1989). These results were not used for assessment, since the testing time of 7d was considerably shorter than in the other test.
