Description of key information

The chronic NOEC in a Daphnia magna reproduction test was 0.85 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC10, LC10 or NOEC for freshwater invertebrates:
0.85 mg/L

Additional information

The long-term effects on aquatic invertebrates were assessed in a 21-day chronic reproduction test on Daphnia magna, according to OECD guideline 202, part 2 under GLP conditions (NITE 1996, 1997). The test concentrations were analytically verified. The 21 -d NOEC was determined to be 0.85 mg/L (time-weighted average).
