Description of key information

An EPIWIN calculation was performed to assess the phototransformation in air of the test substance. Fragments on this compound were not available from the fragment library of SRC EpiWin v3.20. Thus, a substitute (n-octyl instead of dodecyl) has been use. The degradation in % (for indirect photolysis) was estimated to be 50 after 6.5 day(s).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life in air:
6.5 d

Additional information

An EPIWIN calculation was performed to assess the phototransformation in air iof the test substance. Fragments on this compound were not available from the fragment library of SRC EpiWin v3.20. Thus, a substitute (n-octyl instead of dodecyl) has been use. The rate constant (for indirect photolysis) was calculated to be 0.00000000000000000175 cm³/(molecule*sec). Degradation in % (for indirect photolysis) was estimated to be 50 after 6.5 day(s).
