Description of key information

At ambient temperature (20 °C), vapour pressure of the substance Oligomerisation and alkylation reaction products of 2-phenylpropene and phenol (OAPP) (previous name phenol, methylstyrenated) was ca. 0.04 Pa. At 100 °C and 200 °C, vapour pressure was approx. 22 Pa and approx. 3030 Pa respectively.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.04 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Three reliable studies (OECD 104) were conducted to determine the vapour pressure of the substance Oligomerisation and alkylation reaction products of 2-phenylpropene and phenol (OAPP) (previous name phenol, methylstyrenated). Vapour pressure at different temperatures was determined using the linear regression equation from the plot log p over 1/T (p in Pa, T in °K). At 20 °C, the vapour pressure range was between 0.03 and 0.056 Pa with an average of 0.04. At 25 °C, the range was from 0.05 to 0.09 Pa. Vapour pressure at 100 °C was ca. 22 Pa and at 200 °C ca. 3030 Pa.
