Description of key information

The vapour pressure is determined to be 0.001 Pa at 25 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.001 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

In a test according to OECD 104 the vapour pressure of the substance was determined by the effusion (vapour balance) method (Harlan 2013) at 0.001 Pa at 25 °C

In a second test according to OECD 104 the vapour pressure of the substance could not be determined by the effusion ( loss of weight) method (ISI 2014). It was concluded that the vapour pressure of the substance is below that of hexadecane (< 0.19 Pa at 20 °C).
