Materials and methods

Principles of method if other than guideline:
Application of the test substance to rabbit ears on 5 days per week for 3 consecutive weeks. Observation of grossly appearing enlarged pores and hyperkeratosis (comedones) were made daily. Terminal biopsies were evaluated for hyperkeratosis of sebaceous follicles.
