Additional information

A study investigating the long-term toxicity of maleic anhydride to Daphnia magna is published. The study was a performed as a prolonged toxicity test according to a proposal of the German Federal Environmental Agency (1984). The reproduction of Daphnia magna was determined within 21 days of exposure to the substance. A NOEC of 10 mg/L and an EC50 of 77 mg/L were determined (Hüls AG, 1988).
