Results from short- and long-term aquatic toxicity studies for three trophic levels (fish, daphnia and algae) are available (values are expressed in terms of loading rates).

EL50 and NOELR values obtained with fish, daphnia and algae were 56 mg/L, 36 mg/L and >100 mg/L in the short-term studies, and 10 mg/L, 3.2 mg/L and 0.954 mg/L in the long-term studies.

The most relevant and sensitive value obtained in these short and long-term aquatic toxicity studies is the NOELR for algae of 0.954 mg/L. This value was used for risk assessment.
