In view of the chemical and physical properties of aluminium dross and its breakdown products commercially produced aluminium dross has no potential for adsorption on soils or on suspended matter due to their very limited solubility. As inorganic compounds exhibiting limited solubility in water, logKow values are significantly lower than 3 (or not applicable).Thus, there is not need for sediment effects assessment or adsorption/desorption studies.
In accordance with Section 2 of REACH Annex XI, the study does not need to be conducted
