Description of key information

A respiration inhibition test (Griffith Andrew W., 2012) is available which is a key study. This study showed that the 3-h EC50 was 36.4 mg/L and 3-h NOEC was 22.2 mg/L.
A biodegradation study (Pence, 1987) is available which is a supporting study. This study showed that 39-day EC10 was 20 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 for microorganisms:
36.4 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for microorganisms:
22.2 mg/L

Additional information

A respiration inhibition test (Griffith Andrew W., 2012) is conducted according to OECD Guideline 209 (Activated Sludge, Respiration Inhibition Test). Key study. This study showed that the 3-h EC50 was 36.4 mg/L and 3-h NOEC was 22.2 mg/L.
